Senior Product Manager

This role is part of the Markets & Clients department within SIX Securities Services and reports directly to the Head Product Management of the requisite area. You manage clearing products with interface to others such as Sales and Relationship Managers, Domestic and International Custody, Collateral Management as well as the Division's Registrar and Clearing businesses.

Main duties:
  • Manage the product lifecycle and thereof all derived activities within the division across all business areas and initiate the product innovation process if and where required
  • Market your product, ensure achievement of the approved measures and activities as well as market developments and run benchmark analyses
  • Manage your overall product financial responsibility on a contribution margin level, including budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and reporting
  • Define the product strategy together with the relevant stakeholders and continuously align products to meet client and market needs as well as regulatory requirements
  • Manage innovation such as product developments or adaptions along the pre-defined product innovation process
  • Be part of an industry expert network, including the active participation in domestic and international user groups and conferences
  • Support all stakeholders in product related activities, in particular sales and cross-selling efforts (e.g. availability of the product documentation, input for product related marketing activities, align the change management requests)
Your profile:
  • A Bachelor's degree (ideally in finance or business administration); Master degree is an advantage
  • 4 to 6 years of working experience in a product management or likewise role within the financial industry in an international environment
  • Work experience in the area of clearing and settlement is important and in establishing best practices in the post-trade would be an advantage
  • Network in the domestic or international clearing market, accompanied by ability and recognition to credibly engage and influence senior decision makers
  • Structured and thorough approach to solve issues and address requirements in a solution oriented way as well as technical affinity
  • High level of customer orientation and interpersonal skills to find innovative solutions
  • Proactive, self-motivated, innovative, flexible and able to bear up under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and German
