Senior Relationship Manager

Main duties:
Relationship Management:
  • Provide Client Stewardship with all its facets to all the clients of the assigned portfolio
  • Accountable for the client contact management and continuous direct client contact at the clients premises
  • Responsible for the overall management of service-delivery, working closely with Product Management, Sales, Client Support, Front Support, Account Management and Securities Operations
  • Anticipate, understand and retrieve client needs and requirements

Relationship Development:
  • Build and extend strategic relations on respective levels with banks, broker/dealers and other client segments as appropriate, across all products but with a focus on your business area
  • Actively manage specific Account Business Plans and conclude these growth oriented agreements with the clients in order to originate new binding business opportunities
  • Actively drive cross-selling activities and new business opportunities for all services or products in close cooperation with the clients

Financial and support activities:
  • Manage overall client profitability and report the KPI figures trough monthly Account Business Plans updates
  • Identify and address market developments and client requirements across all products in close cooperation with other relationship managers, product managers and the client support department
Your profile:
  • A Bachelor's degree (ideally in Finance / Business Administration), a Master in Business or Finance would be an advantage
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a post trade relationship management role within the financial industry (B2B)
  • Solid understanding of clearing, settlement/custody and securities financing products and respective market requirements (additional educations attended in these areas are a plus)
  • A network in the domestic or international securities services market, accompanied by the ability and recognition to credibly engage and influence senior decision makers
  • Structured and thorough approach to solve issues and address requirements in a solution oriented way
  • Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills
  • High level of customer orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, innovative, flexible and able to bear up under pressure
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills in English, German and French (Italian is a plus)
