Head Business Services Management

SIX Payment Services («DPS») provides financial institutions and retail customers with secure and innovative solutions along the entire value chain of cashless payments. It provides payment solutions that integrate point of sale, attended and unattended equipment & till software to payment terminals and processor hosts. DPS is active in more than 30 countries across 4 continents. DPS is currently looking for its Head Business Services Management, reporting directly to the Head of DPS Customer Fulfillment. The Head Business Services Management is responsible for the day to day management of the Business Services Management Department (50 employees based in Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg and Poland). As such, he/she will provide leadership and direction to the Department Managers and their teams that are responsible for the overall problem, incident process management for issuing, acquiring and enabling within the Division Payment Services.

Main duties:
  • To ensure the implementation of quality assurance processes strategy across the business
  • To lead the incident management process, access, keys and certificate management process closely in linked with the Division Global IT
  • To ensure continuous improvement of business service monitoring
  • To monitor and manage IT service quality based on SLAs
  • Act as a liaison between internal business and IT parties in relation to new business demand (ex : deliver IT requirements including user acceptance criteria according to business requirements or change requests)
  • Prepare communications and reports at different levels of the organization that provide insight and clarity into IT events that have a significant business impact
  • To manage all the business continuity management for the Division Payment Services
  • To develop an efficient training program for all Payment Services Customer Fulfillment users
  • To act as a strong Project Sponsor to the Transformation program for the Division Payment Services (industrialization of the business in order to ensure a sustainable and competitive position)
  • Manage talented and experienced managerial and department leaders (recruitment, development and retention)
  • To create and sustain a positive team environment displaying high levels of motivation and excellent team spirit
  • To promote effective communication throughout all levels internally and externally

Your profile:
  • Master's Degree in IT or related field (ETH, Uni, FH)
  • Minimum of 10 years' proven operational leadership experience in within IT Services in an international company, preferably in card processing area
  • Knowledge of industry best demonstrated practices, peer benchmarks and participation in industry forums/boards
  • Proven experience of successful change management and/or application of continuous/business improvement methods
  • Excellent people management, leadership, coaching and motivation skills
  • Excellent customer awareness and focus
  • Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, solution-oriented and hands-on personality
  • Very Good spoken and written skills of German and English
