Senior Account Manager

You will partner with and ensure the long-term success and revenue sustainability of a set of named customers.You are responsible for developing long-term relationships with personal portfolio of assigned customers connecting with and expanding the network of key business executives and stakeholders as well as the overall client satisfaction. You liaises between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions and products according to customer needs.

Main duties:
  • Meet and exceed targets for revenue retention, revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory, Identify leads and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment (up-selling)
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to his customers
  • Build and maintain strong long- lasting customer relationships
  • Know the customers «inside out», be able to prepare and maintain specific strategic account plan and to execute upon this short-, mid- and long-term as appropriate
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customers stakeholders and executive sponsor
  • Ensures the timely and successful delivery of our solutions and products according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Assist with high severity request or issues escalations as needed
  • Collaborate with sales manager in bigger opportunities
  • Keep abreast of new trends within financial markets and the finance industry and apply these where relevant and possible to the SIX Financial Information/SIX strategy for the account(s)

Your profile:
  • University degree or equivalent apprenticeship and professional experience in IT or Banking with minimum 6 years of practical experience in financial Information
  • Strong sales and negotiation techniques
  • Strong analytical and conceptional reasoning skills
  • Good presentation and communication skills as well as moderation techniques
  • Problem solving and decision making techniques
  • Experience of closing deals of high value
  • Able to communicate with customers at all levels and in details
  • Door Opener
  • Able to work in Virtual Account Teams
  • Fluency in German and English both in the written and spoken word
