Senior Specialist Data Acquisition Operations

The Data Acquisition Operations and Controlling Team in our Global Data Operations Department is responsible for the data acquisition to data delivery end-to-end commercial process including administration, consulting, compliance controlling and financial aspects.

Main duties:
Technical tasks
  • Responsible for financial data entitlements and product set-up
  • Coordinate and support data implementation to ensure compliance
  • Inform/support entitlement owners of changes to ensure correct set-up of data entitlement, billing and reporting for compliance purposes

Financials & Controlling
  • Monitor the completeness and commercial compliance of the end-to-end process data acquisition to data delivery
  • Create and control purchase requisition documents and update/maintain SAP/contract admin system
  • Create and control Intercompany- and supplier revenue share billing
  • Prepare and monitor data acquisition financial reports, forecast and budget
  • Identify and request correction of client entitlement and perform risk analysis
  • Organize and execute internal and external audits

Commercial tasks
  • Review Data Suppliers' contracts, consult and instruct on changes
  • Manage and monitor supplier pre-approvals for data usage
  • Administer contract related documentation for correct and complete archiving
  • Support solution/sales team to ensure data usage compliance
Your profile:
  • University degree (Bachelor) or equivalent and professional experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry
  • Good knowledge of financial markets and experience in exchange administration
  • Very good controlling and financial skills in combination with cost awareness
  • Good legal understanding
  • Solid IT / analytical skills and experience in project management
  • Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail to meet/exceed project timelines, deliverables and profitability
  • Capability to make decisions independently and to adapt flexibly to changing priorities
  • Outspoken and easy-going personality in combination with strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Team player which works well under pressure and is able to inspire the team with new ideas
  • Manage themselves and guide others
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English, any other language is advantageous
