Agile Java Software Engineer

Do you want to work in an agile, self-organized team where passion, trust and innovation are principals? We are looking for bright, dedicated team player to join SIX as Application Software Engineer who shares this enthusiasm.

As a SW Engineer in our DevOps team, you are a reliable partner to our customers by providing high-quality and state-of-the-art application software for our services. With your skills you are a success factor in areas of business oriented software development and time to market deployment. You act across teams with a focus on end-to-end responsibility.

What You Will Do
  • Develop software in an agile environment and enjoy working on the continuous improvement of our products
  • Collaborate with our business partners in developing technical solutions to customer inquiries
  • Support the implementation of DevOps topics such as: CI / CD pipeline, test automation, agile process improvement
  • Provide 3rd level support with periodic on-call standby service
What You Bring
  • Up-to-date skills as a Java software developer with Java 8/11, JSP, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 experience required; XML, Swing, Spring, Perl are nice to have)
  • Initiative and result-oriented attitude with a good sense for quality
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift) is needed
  • Good verbal and written skills in English and German
