Application Engineer

Zurich | 80 - 100% | Reference 2838

Application Management team is responsible for all mainframe applications, internal file transfer and coordination between development & operation of financial applications on mainframe. If you have a flair for software engineering, enjoy testing and automation on mainframe and want to actively contribute – this is the role for you!

What You Will Do
  • Developing our architecture and bring in your software engineering knowledge
  • Coordination between development & operation of financial applications on mainframe
  • Support in implementation of DevOps topics like test automation, quality assurance & continuous improvement of agile processes
  • Responsible for 2nd level support and on-call duty 
What You Bring
  • Completed computer science education 
  • Experience in programming languages such as REXX, etc.
  • Very good JCL knowledge and agilist with DevOps skills 
  • Team player who contributes ideas and focuses on results
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
