A vacancy has arisen in our Client Consulting Group to provide pre and post sales support to clients. The role reports to Head Sales Support Operations, UK and is based around supporting clients and products, working effectively with sales to develop and deepen relationships with existing and new customers, and to promote and support the full range of SIX Financial Information’s services.
The successful applicant will develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of our central database, data collection processes and data distribution technology. They will be expected to become a subject matter expert in this area and to communicate effectively as such to clients and prospects, including managing such areas as services implementation and user training.
Candidates should have a background in the use and/or support of data services into financial institutions, ideally into a reference data environment either through a similar role elsewhere or by working at a client.
- Management of the FundsFast, Hedge Fund and Fund Income services for all clients
- Data analysis and validation of prospective client Fund universes
- Project management & on-boarding of clients onto bespoke Fund data solutions
- Accompanying sales executives to meetings with existing and prospective clients within the UK and Ireland
- Ongoing consultation with clients and SIX Financial Information Development teams to ensure client performance targets are achieved
- Driving local and global initiatives to improve the overall data solutions available to clients
Although the emphasis of the role will focus on Funds and the existing Data Solutions Product Suite the role will expand into other instrument types and Product areas, therefore the employee is expected to carry out any other task reasonably considered to be within the remit of the role.
The following qualities and experience are highly desirable:
A solid understanding of Funds and a good understanding of other instrument types (Equity, Fixed Income, Commodity and FX markets) and Market Data areas such as Reference Data, Pricing and Corporate Actions.
Good presentation, documentation and communication (oral and written) skills. Ability to build strong relationships with prospects, clients and internal stakeholders.
A solid understanding of Sales and Project Management lifecycles. They should be a motivated self-starter who can work with the minimum of supervision, driving his or her own activities based on the goals and targets they have been set, and involving other resources in the team when required.
Demonstrate enthusiasm to learn about, and maintain, their knowledge of the details of the market, including regulation, competitive positioning, technical issues around data delivery and current ‘hot topics’ in the industry.
