Main duties
  • Creates vision, strategy and goals for achieving business excellence
  • Translates Continuous Improvement targets into areas of improvements for Business Units and Corporate Functions
  • Supports continuous improvement culture development and drives culture change by applying Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo and other continuous improvement best practices
  • Promotes Excellence and Lean Sigma best practices across SIX
  • Assures statistical methods of data collection and analysis are used in the evaluation of proposed process changes. Provides performance gap analysis utilizing benchmarking / diagnostic tools to identify areas of improvements
  • Leads teams across the organization and personally executes large scale and complex transformation projects, generating tangible business results using a proven "Lean approach" and "methods"
  • Trains mentors and drives the organization responsible for the improvement program implementation
Your profile
  • Master's Degree in Informatics, Engineering or Business Administration
  • At least 10 years' experience in Lean systems (e.g.Toyota Production System expert), methodology and tool box, People Change, Shingo, Agile/Scrum, Hoshin Kanri Policy Deployment in transactional and IT environment
  • Minimum five years of leadership experience; incl. participation in development of business strategies
  • Working in international teams across hierarchies; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Broad change and transformation experience within larger organization
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ level) or Master Black Belt are expected. Experience introducing, coaching and driving the adoption of Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
  • Experience with execution of improvement projects across functions
  • Experienced in coaching others

  • Strong team player and networker; ability to work at all levels across the organization. Must be able to effectively lead or influence multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must have excellent data analysis and presentation skills combined with strong bias for action and results orientation.
  • Fluent knowledge of English and German
