SIX Financial Information and FTS sign Service Facilitator Agreement for Corporate Action Data

New Jersey, Zurich (Switzerland), May 5, 2017 – SIX Financial Information and Financial Technologies Solutions (FTS), a technology provider of workflow solutions for the financial securities market, today announced that they have signed a Service Facilitator Agreement. This enables FTS to process SIX Financial Information’s highly regarded corporate action data on behalf of mutual clients in North America who operate globally.

Under the Service Facilitator Agreement, FTS’ Corporate Actions Announcement and Processing System (CAAPS) will provide access to non-North American corporate actions data sourced by SIX Financial Information thus streamlining and simplifying critical corporate actions information while providing tools for direct comparison with client’s custodian bank event information.

A specialist in reference and pricing data, SIX Financial Information has won multiple industry awards for corporate actions quality. Drawing on an extensive securities database and more than 1500 global sources means SIX provides 53 ISO defined corporate action event types in near real-time.

“Integrating SIX Financial Information’s international corporate actions data within CAAPS will assist in providing an additional level of critical risk management for our clients,” said Leonard E. Belvedere, Executive Vice President of Business Strategies and Sales, Financial Technologies Solutions. “We look forward to expanding our customers’ options through our new relationship with SIX by offering their data through additional FTS products and services.”

“SIX enjoys a strong reputation for accurate and timely delivery of corporate action information. Clients utilize the information to bring efficiencies to their cash flow management, income distribution and mission-critical portfolio and risk management activities. Thanks to our new partnership with FTS, joint clients in North America can take advantage of streamlined data consumption, allowing them to reduce manual error, operational risk and costs,” commented Robert Jeanbart, Division CEO SIX Financial Information.
