Sibos is the annual conference, exhibition and networking event organised by SWIFT for the financial industry.
What started out as a banking operations seminar in 1978, has grown into the premier business forum for the global financial community to debate and collaborate in the areas of payments, securities, cash management and trade.
Sibos brings together thousands of business leaders, decision makers and topic experts from across the financial ecosystem. Industry leading speakers and conference sessions, partners, and multiple networking events make Sibos the perfect platform to collectively shape the future of the sector.
COVID-19 continues to have a significant impact on the way we live and work. This year Sibos was initially scheduled to take place in Singapore, but due to the current global health situation, it will be held for the second consecutive year virtually and free of charge. It will exponentially increase the access and participation of members of the sector.
SIX is once again participating in this event as a partner. Sibos 2021 will take place virtually and free of charge from 11 to 14 October 2021.
During the event, conferences and panels will be held on such topical issues as digitalisation, sustainable finance, diversity and inclusion, among others. On 14 October at 12:00 CET, Marion Leslie, Head Financial Information and member of the Executive Board will speak on a panel entitled: "Beyond the basics: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as a marker for business credibility". She will be accompanied by representatives from BNY Mellon, Barclays and McKinsey & Co.
Don’t miss out on this panel and check out the complete Sibos 2021 programme.
