One million e-banking customers place their trust in the e-bill from SIX

The e-bill from SIX has maintained its successful growth among e-banking customers in 2015.

As at 12 November 2015, more than one million e-banking customers of Swiss banks in the Paynet system had signed up for the e-bill service from SIX. An average of 10,500 new e-banking customers have joined each month this year. There has been a 15% year-on-year jump in new registrations of e-banking customers.

The e-bill allows e-banking customers to receive and pay bills directly in their e-banking system – conveniently, quickly and free of charge. Customers activate e-billing directly in their e-banking system and register with their billers. From that point on, they receive their bills electronically in their e-banking system, instead of being sent paper copies. When they log in to e-banking, customers see a message that they have new e-bills and can authorize their payment with just a few clicks of the mouse. If an e-bill is incorrect, they can reject it with a click.

More than 90 Swiss banks and over 800 companies are connected to the network that SIX operates, making it the largest e-billing network for e-banking customers in Switzerland.
