In the year under review, the number of transactions processed in the SIC payment system rose from 728 million in the previous year to 894 million (+22.8%). At the same time, the average price of a single transaction was reduced from 2.87 to 2.34 centimes (-18.5%). The euroSIC system also recorded a year-on-year growth from 12.9 to 14.8 million (+14.7%) transactions.
