About This Event
Sustainability and in particular the fight against climate change are current topics on the global political agenda. The European Union (EU) is introducing regulations that will have far-reaching consequences for companies inside and outside the EU.
This Online-Politcafé will explain what the EU is working on in the area of "Environmental Social Governance" (ESG) and sustainability regulations for financial market participants. The focus will be on the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and the Taxonomy, a system to classify the level of sustainability of investments and redirect financial flows in a more sustainable direction.
At this event, our speaker, Janine Hofer-Wittwer, CFA, will highlight the impact these regulations have on financial institutions and companies from the real economy and what SIX Financial Information is working on in this area.
