Jos Dijsselhof, CEO
CEO
Jos Dijsselhof joined SIX in January 2018 as CEO. He holds degrees in computer science and business administration, and has a long track record in international management in the financial sector. He has previously held positions at ABN Amro Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland and ANZ Australia & New Zealand Banking Group in various countries including Hong Kong and Singapore. His most recent role was Chief Operating Officer (2014–June 2017) and CEO ad interim (2015) at Euronext in Amsterdam.

Daniel Schmucki, CFO
CFO
Daniel Schmucki took up his role as CFO of SIX in March 2017. He joined SIX from Flughafen Zürich AG, where he had been Chief Financial Officer and Deputy CEO since 2008. In addition to all the traditional finance functions, he was also responsible for revenue management, information and communication technology, risk and compliance management and central procurement as well as M&A, including the operation of all the company’s global commitments. Daniel Schmucki joined Flughafen Zürich AG as Head Controlling at the end of 1999. In 2002 he also took over responsibility for the Treasury and Investor Relations departments and for the expansion of the company’s international airport activities. Before joining Flughafen Zürich AG, he held various management positions in the field of finance within Germany’s Bosch Group, such as Head Division Controlling at Scintilla AG and Chief Financial Officer of Robert Bosch Internationale Beteiligungen AG. Daniel Schmucki holds a Federal Diploma as an expert in accounting and controlling.

Dr. Jochen Dürr, CRO
CRO
Jochen Dürr took up his position as Chief Risk Officer of SIX in March 2015. Prior to this, he held a number of management positions in the risk management field at State Street Corporation. Jochen Dürr began his professional career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, working in both Germany and the US. He provided his global clientele, which included asset managers, banks and insurance companies, with support, focusing on risk management, the capital market business and corporate finance. Jochen Dürr was awarded a doctorate in credit risk management from the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Rostock and has a degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen. He also took part in study visits to the University of Warwick and the Stern Business School.

Christoph Landis
Head IT
As Head IT, Christoph Landis has been responsible for the development and operation of the entire IT infrastructure since February 2018. Prior to this, he was responsible for Swiss Exchange from November 2015 to January 2018. He also led the exchanges business unit as interim Head Exchanges during 2023. Christoph Landis was appointed CIO to the Management Committee of Swiss Exchange in 2003 and has been responsible for the Operations unit since 2010, becoming Deputy in 2012. He has held various technology-related positions within Swiss Exchange since 1992. He has been Deputy Director of the Information Technology unit since 1999, with a major focus on developmental and external IT projects. After obtaining his university entrance qualification in Zurich in 1978, Christoph Landis continued his studies in the fields of human medicine, information technology and economics.

Marion Leslie
Head Financial Information
Marion Leslie joined SIX Group in January 2020 as Head Financial Information and a member of the SIX Executive Board. As Head Financial Information, Marion Leslie leads the SIX global data business, serving financial institutions worldwide with critical data and insights to support their clients. She is also the representative on the Executive Board for Sustainability.
Leading global businesses and operations at scale, with a strong emphasis on data and technology, are the hallmarks of her career in financial services. Prior to joining SIX, Marion Leslie was Managing Director, Enterprise at Refinitiv (London Stock Exchange) with responsibility for delivering market data, platforms and services to the global financial markets. Before that, she held a variety of executive roles within London Stock Exchange Group, having joined Reuters in 1994. Marion Leslie holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in French and German from the University of Cambridge. She was named one of the 100 Most Influential Women in European Finance by Financial News every year from 2020-2023, was listed as one of Swiss Finance’s Women to Watch in 2022, and was included in the World Federation of Exchanges Women Leaders List 2021.

Javier Hernani Burzaco
Head Securities Services
Javier Hernani Burzaco has been Head Securities Services at SIX since January 2021. He is also CEO of BME since 2017. He is a Spanish citizen and holds degrees in economics and business management from Universidad Comercial de Deusto and in european studies from Brugges European School. Before joining BME in 2002, he held the position as Deputy General Manager of the Bilbao Stock Exchange. Previously he worked as European Financial Sector consultant at Coopers & Lybrand Brussels and as CFO at Norbolsa, a Spanish broker.

Dieter Goerdten
Head Banking Services
Dieter Goerdten has headed the Banking Services business unit since December 2022. He previously had been in charge of the Banking Services business unit’s Products & Solutions department since September 2018. He earned a degree in economics from the University of Hamburg, holds a Master of Advanced Studies degree in corporate finance from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Northwestern Switzerland, and has many years of international managerial experience in the Swiss financial sector. His professional background also includes career experience in the airline industry (at Deutsche Lufthansa in Frankfurt, Cologne, and Hamburg) and in the field of international development cooperation (at the German Development Cooperation Agency), with multiyear stints in Costa Rica and Ethiopia. In Switzerland he has held various management roles at UBS, PostFinance, the St. Gallen-based Bankenberatungszentrum, and the consultancy firm Boxcon. Dieter Goerdten served also as the interim Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Euro Clearing Bank in Frankfurt.

Bjørn Sibbern
Global Head Exchanges
Bjørn Sibbern has been Global Head Exchanges and Member of the Executive Board of SIX since January 2024. He is responsible for both the Swiss and Spanish Exchanges, as well as the digital exchange SDX. Bjørn Sibbern has experience managing large teams in the fields of trading, funds, post-trade, listings, IPOs, data, index business, and technology. Before joining SIX, he served as Executive Vice President and President of European Markets at Nasdaq. In this role, he led the Nasdaq markets and exchanges across the Nordic and Baltic regions. He was also responsible for trading, listing, clearing, settlement, and the data business in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland, and the Baltic nations. Prior to this, Bjørn was Executive Vice President and responsible for Nasdaq global data, data & analytics and index business working out of Nasdaq headquarter in New York. Before joining Nasdaq, Bjørn Sibbern was CEO at E*TRADE Bank Denmark from 2006 to 2008 and held key roles at OMX and Stocknet Norway. The Danish citizen holds an Executive Master in Business Administration, a Graduate Diploma in Finance, and a Master in Business Administration and Commercial Law from Copenhagen Business School.

Dr. Alain Bichsel
Head Corporate Communications & Marketing
Alain Bichsel has headed up Marketing & Communications since April 2018. As part of this role, he is responsible for marketing, corporate communications and brand management at SIX. At the end of 2014, Alain Bichsel was appointed Head Corporate Communications at SIX, where he had already been responsible for Group-wide media relations since 2011. Prior to this, he was Head of Communications at FINMA (previously the Swiss Federal Banking Commission) from 2007 onward. Before joining FINMA, he held various management positions in Communications at the Swiss Bankers Association and a number of private organizations. Alain Bichsel is a Swiss national and holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Basel, Switzerland.

Dr. Hannah Zaunmüller
Chief Human Resources Officer
Hannah Zaunmüller has been responsible for Human Resources (HR) since February 2021. She has many years of management experience in the field of HR in various industries. After completing her university degree (Master of Economics) in the Netherlands and subsequent doctorate (Dr. rer. Pol.) at RWTH Aachen University in Germany, she started her career at Deutsche Post DHL in 2005. In 2009 she moved to Swiss Post, where she was initially Head of HR Strategy and Governance, before becoming Head of Talent and then Head of Development. In 2017, Hannah Zaunmüller took on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer and Member of the Extended Group Executive Board at Ringier. As such, she was responsible for the entire HR of the Ringier Group with companies in 19 countries.
