In the ICSD category, SIX scored 6.51 out of a possible 7 with customers awarding top marks to the company’s client services, account management, relationship management and securities lending capabilities. In Switzerland, SIX scored 6.52 out of a possible 7, with account management, relationship management, securities lending and asset safety all receiving high praise from customers.
SIX’s excellent scores in client service and relationship management come shortly following the company’s decision to expand custody services globally. In addition to giving Swiss and international clients access to US and Asian markets, it also enables SIX to offer globally based institutions access to all major markets across a broad range of asset classes through a single contractual relationship.
As more markets increasingly adopt T+1, SIX’s global footprint will help it support clients which are operating in multiple time zones with the compressed settlement cycles.
“Client service and relationship management are activities that SIX prides itself on and these scores in the Global Custodian survey reflect our efforts. These are areas of the business which SIX will continue to prioritize as our industry and clients evolve at an exponential speed, “ said Javier Hernani, Head Securities Services, SIX.
