This accessibility statement applies to the website six-group.com.

Compliance Status

Based on the accessibility review carried out, this website is considered partially accessible, due to the limitations listed below. The review considered selected accessibility criteria, including criteria from WCAG, but does not constitute a full WCAG conformance audit.

Accessibility Features

SIX has introduced a number of measures designed to facilitate access to, understanding of and navigation through the content of six-group.com.

The accessibility features and good practices identified on the pages reviewed include:

  • Read-aloud functionality with ReadSpeaker: ReadSpeaker is available on supported static content pages, allowing users to listen to the textual content and providing an additional way of accessing information.

  • Language identification: the pages reviewed declare their content language, supporting screen readers and other assistive technologies in applying the appropriate pronunciation and language settings.

  • Consistent navigation: the pages reviewed maintain a consistent navigation structure, with recurring header, main navigation and footer elements.

  • Breadcrumb navigation: internal pages include breadcrumbs that help users identify their location within the website structure and navigate to higher-level sections.

  • Logical navigation order: on the pages assessed, the overall keyboard navigation order generally follows the visual structure and logical flow of the content.

  • Main content structure: the pages reviewed contain a main-content landmark and one primary page heading, helping assistive technologies identify the principal content.

  • Semantic page elements: the pages reviewed use structural elements such as headers, footers and navigation regions. Some landmark labelling and content structures still require improvement, as described under “Non-Accessible Content.”

  • Data-grid accessibility: the Share Explorer data grid was found to be usable during the selected screen-reader check. Further testing is recommended to ensure that headers and sorting states are communicated consistently across assistive technologies.

  • Structured data: structured data is used on relevant pages to help machines and assistive technologies interpret page content, context and relationships more consistently.

  • Video transcripts on Knowledge Hub pages: where videos are published in the Knowledge Hub, transcripts are provided or planned to support users who cannot access audio or video content.

  • Image text alternatives: alternative text is provided or being added for relevant images and visual assets to make their meaning available to screen-reader users.

These measures form part of the ongoing work of SIX to improve its digital experience and are complemented by the remediation activities described in this statement.

Non-Accessible Content

The content listed below may present accessibility limitations for some users:

  • PDF accessibility: some downloadable PDF documents may not yet be fully accessible. Document structure, reading order, headings, tables, lists, images or other semantic information may not be sufficiently defined for users of assistive technologies.

  • Text alternatives: certain images, charts and visual elements do not currently provide adequate text alternatives or accessible descriptions for screen-reader users.

  • Color contrast: certain text and interface elements do not provide sufficient contrast against their backgrounds. In some cases, colour may also be used to communicate information without sufficient additional visual or textual cues.

  • Heading and content structure: inconsistencies have been identified in the heading hierarchy and semantic structure of certain pages. Some lists, groups and other content elements may not be marked up in a way that fully communicates their structure and relationships to assistive technologies.

  • Keyboard navigation: some interactive components may have limitations when navigating exclusively by keyboard. Certain users may need to navigate through repeated content before reaching the main page content, and some menus or interactive tools may not support all expected keyboard interactions.

  • Focus management: keyboard focus may not always be sufficiently visible or move as expected when menus, search functions or other interactive content are opened. Some components may also make it difficult for users to move away using the keyboard.

  • Screen-reader compatibility and ARIA attributes: some search, filtering, dropdown, date-selection and navigation controls require improvements to their accessible names, roles, states or relationships. As a result, their purpose or current status may not be communicated adequately to assistive technologies.

  • Forms and data entry: some form fields and selection controls do not have appropriately associated labels or instructions. In certain cases, required information, validation states or error messages may not be fully communicated to assistive technologies.

  • Links and interactive elements: some links and other focusable elements do not provide sufficiently descriptive accessible text or names, which can make their purpose or destination difficult to determine.

  • Dynamic content: certain dynamically updated information, including results from interactive tools, may not be automatically announced to screen-reader users when the content changes.

  • Tables and data grids: certain data grids use complex ARIA-based structures that require further testing to ensure that row and column relationships, headers, sorting controls and other information are communicated consistently to screen-reader users.

  • Page semantic structure: structural landmarks are present, but some navigation regions are not sufficiently differentiated or labelled. This may make landmark-based navigation less clear for screen-reader users.

  • Text resizing: some navigation elements may no longer be fully available or visible when the page is enlarged to 200%.

The review also identified accessibility criteria requiring further manual assessment, including comprehensive screen-reader testing and testing of content outside the representative sample. These matters are not considered confirmed non-compliances in this statement until their assessment has been completed.

SIX is progressively addressing the identified limitations as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the accessibility and usability of its digital services.

Preparation of This Accessibility Statement

This statement was prepared on 8 October 2026.

The statement was prepared on the basis of an accessibility review carried out in August 2026. The review covered a representative sample of six English-language webpages and one PDF document, combining automated accessibility testing with a review of the rendered HTML implementation, an assessment of the selected PDF’s structure and selected manual keyboard checks.

Automated testing does not cover all accessibility requirements. Additional manual testing, including comprehensive screen-reader testing, may therefore be required to assess accessibility more fully across the website.

Accessibility assessments reflect the state of the website at the time they are carried out. As six-group.com, its content and its functionality are continuously evolving, subsequent changes may affect these results.

The statement was last reviewed on 8 October 2026.
