It Has Been a Busy Period for SIX, Following a Number of High-Profile Product Launches
SIX has been strengthening its European custody operations, firstly by getting a local custody foothold in Spain following its BME acquisition, and also in Greece, through a securities service’s partnership with Piraeus. Our operations in Asia have also been expanded.
In April 2025, SIX unveiled its Digital Assets and Regulatory Tax Service, a unique data solution which allows financial institutions to assess whether more than 80,000 crypto-related instruments, such as tokens or blockchain-based assets – fall under the scope of regulatory and tax requirements.

In 2024, SIX received the top ratings from Global Custodian in all areas of the ICSD and CSD categories, and also exceeded the average in all 13 best in class categories. Top ratings were given for Relationship Management with 6.79, client service with 6.77, and account management on 6.66, underlining our commitment to client service.
