In March 2023, trading turnover on SIX Swiss Exchange reached CHF 162.2 billion, 47.6% more than in the previous month, while the number of transactions increased by 38.5% to a total of 5,567,069. The SMI® progressed by 0.01% and reached 11,106.2 points at the end of the month; since the start of the year, it is up 3.5%. The stock that generated the highest turnover during the reporting month was NOVARTIS N with CHF 10.7 billion; CS Group N was the most traded stock with 454,844 transactions.
