In July, turnover on SIX Swiss Exchange reached close to CHF 90bn , 6.5% more than in June. Overall, close to CHF 700bn were traded on SIX Swiss Exchange since the start of the year, 19.4% more than last year.  On BME Exchange, turnover was up 13.7% in July to reach close to EUR 52bn. YTD, EUR 298bn represent an increase of 15.2%. 

The SMI ended the month almost where it started, at 11,836 points. Year-to-date, the performance now stands at 2%. The IBEX 35 reached 14,397 points, up by 24.2% since the start of the year. 

In Switzerland, Valour Digital Securities was welcomed as a new ETP issuer, while in Spain CIRSA celebrated a successful IPO.
