Family Business Conference

The Family Business Conference by Family Business Matters and SIX aims to foster relationships between family members from private and stock exchange listed companies and leaders of and other persons who are in close advisory roles with family businesses. 


This year's 2nd  conference will take place on the 31 August 2023 and focus on the following topics:

  • the question of whether foundations can ensure the survival of the family business;
  • succession solution by means of a practical example;
  • a political discussion on the revision of inheritance law regarding fairness in corporate succession, and
  • "out-of-the-box" lecture by a psychotherapist who will, with the help of psychological concept, explain characteristics and relationship patterns in ourselves and how we activate these again and again in certain situations.

Succession planning: Balancing and reorganizing family structure: Family experience stay with us for a lifetime. An understanding is needed to meaningfully explain these relationships in how they arise and function.
