The new Allianz Smart Active ETF range provides access to three actively managed equity strategies covering global, European and US markets. With one strategy listed in two trading currencies, the four ETFs combine Allianz Global Investors’ systematic investment approach with transparent investment rules, liquidity and intraday tradability of the ETF structure, giving investors efficient access to active ETFs through SIX Swiss Exchange.

With this launch, SIX expands the range of ETFs available on its market and welcomes another international asset manager to its issuer base, bringing the total number of ETF issuers at SIX Swiss Exchange to 37.

Alexandra Auer, Head of Distribution EMEA at Allianz Global Investors, comments: “Entering the active ETF market is an important step in how we make our investment capabilities available to clients. With this launch, we aim to offer Swiss investors access to innovative active ETF strategies through a familiar exchange-traded format. SIX Swiss Exchange provides the regulated market access, efficient and pragmatic listing process, Swiss investor reach and liquidity environment needed to support our ambition.”

Danielle Reischuk, Senior ETFs & ETPs Sales Manager, SIX Swiss Exchange, adds: “We are pleased to welcome Allianz Global Investors as a new ETF issuer at SIX Swiss Exchange and thank them for choosing our platform. The launch of these new active ETFs broadens the ETF segment in Switzerland and reflects the continued development of listed investment products. We wish Allianz Global Investors strong investor interest and successful trading in these new products.”
