The highest turnover on a single trading day was recorded on 20 March, which saw securities worth a total volume of CHF 18.8 billion changing hands. The highest number of trades was recorded on 12 March, with 1,335,892 transactions The stock that generated the highest turnover during the reporting month was ROCHE GS with CHF 34.2 billion; it was also the most traded stock with 1,203,439 transactions.

In products with crypto currencies as underlyings, trading turnover in March 2020 was -27% lower than in the previous month and reached CHF 58.2 million. The number of trades remained almost stable, at 2,905 (-2.2% compared to February). Overall, volumes were higher than in January 2020. In total, 49 crypto products were traded in March. The product with the highest turnover was ZXBTAV on Bitcoin, with CHF 35.1 million. The most traded product was ZBTAV on Bitcoin with 937 transactions.
