The highest turnover on a single trading day was recorded on 16 April, which saw securities worth a total volume of CHF 6.8 billion changing hands. The highest number of trades was recorded on 6 April, with 305,207. The stock that generated the highest turnover during the reporting month was NESTLE N with CHF 11.0 billion; CS GROUP N was the most traded stock with 319,461 transactions.

In April, products with crypto currencies as underlyings reached a trading turnover of CHF 845.8 million (+36% month-on-month). Since the start of the year, the turnover in crypto products on the Swiss Stock Exchange is 194% higher than in the entire previous year. In total, 90 products were traded and 30,421 transactions registered (+70% month-on-month). Once again, the most traded product was an ETP: BTCW (on Bitcoin) with CHF 93.3 million. An ETP was also the most traded product: AXRP (on Ripple) with 3,280 transactions.
