The highest turnover on a single trading day was recorded on 19 August, which saw securities worth a total volume of CHF 5.9 billion changing hands. The highest number of trades was also recorded on 19 August, with 292,922. The stock that generated the highest turnover during the reporting month was ROCHE GS with CHF 7.2 billion; it was also the most traded stock with 229,982 transactions. 

In August, products with crypto currencies as underlyings reached a trading turnover of CHF 587.1 million on the Swiss stock exchange. In total, 117 products were traded and 25,789 transactions concluded – an increase of 155% and 106%, respectively. The most traded product was an ETP, AADA on Cardano, with CHF 51.9 million and 2,655 transactions.
