Bianca, you are the interviewer in the new video format ‘SIX Minutes’. What is it all about?
The primary purpose is to transmit valuable information to our stakeholders and target audiences. As one of the most innovative stock exchange operators, we have launched many new services in recent years. Competition is fierce, not only in terms of trading services and functionalities, but also in terms of attention from potential users. They might not have had the chance to catch up with all the new initiatives, and to identify the ones which would really add value to them. Here’s where SIX Minutes comes into play.
So the goal is to increase service adoption?
Exactly. We want to provide decision support and help our members to trade more successfully on our markets. To do so, we leverage the knowledge of our experts at SIX, interviewing them about liquidity trends, our offerings, product updates, order book dynamics, order types… there is no topical boundary. Every episode shall be an enjoyable conversation, not a lecture or sales pitch. And of course, if viewers want to know more, they already know to which person at SIX they can reach out to.
We want to help our members to trade more successfully on our markets. To do so, we leverage the knowledge of our experts at SIX.

What would you say is the trademark of SIX Minutes?
Perhaps you could call the approach “business casual”, or “serious enough to be playful”: the format may be casual, but the content is business relevant. We also deliberately chose the short video format and LinkedIn as the main distribution channel, so it can be consumed where and whenever people feel like it. In that sense, SIX Minutes also complements our existing information offering.
And what are the plans for the future?
In terms of timing, we don’t have a strict publication schedule, so following today’s debut of SIX Minutes, the rhythm will be ad hoc. In terms of content, depending on how the clips are received we might expand the format to discuss topics from other parts of SIX, or even invite clients. So we are looking forward to feedback and reactions.
