Baloise Asset Management AG becomes a fund issuer on SIX Swiss Exchange. Their new real estate fund brings the total number of mutual funds trading on the Swiss stock exchange to 42, listed by 21 different issuers. 39 of these funds classify as real estate funds, including the new Baloise Swiss Property Fund available in CHF (ISIN CH0414551033).

A record of 430,000 trades were executed in investment funds in 2020, 20% more than the year before. Trading turnover in investment funds accounts for CHF 7.7 bn in the first ten months of the current year, which is equal to the same period 2020 respectively +10% compared to the same period 2019. 365,000 trades have been executed YTD in investment funds, which is equal to the same period 2020 respectively +27% compared to 2019.

The Baloise Swiss Property Fund invests in real estate throughout Switzerland and holds direct investments in Swiss core / core plus properties that are in good locations and demonstrate high earnings and value stability. Currently, 29% of the properties owned by the fund are located in northwestern Switzerland followed by 21% in the area of the lake of Geneva and 18% in Zurich.79% are residential buildings. The fund has an estimated market value of CHF 811 million.
