About the UBS 100

The UBS 100 index represents the 100 largest Swiss stocks in the Swiss Performance Index SPI® measured by market capitalization. The Swiss Performance Index SPI® covers all domestic and foreign companies with a primary listing.
The index is a fixed component index. It differs from SPI Large Mid in the sense that there is no buffer applied in its component selection. On April 01, 1987 the UBS 100 Index Total Return was standardised at 1000 points. As of today the index represents more than 98% of the freefloat market capitalization of the entire Swiss equity market.
