SIX calculates and provides over 600 indices covering Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland to both the sell-side and buy-side, as well as the media and listed companies. This includes customized indices catered to specific organizational needs. Thanks to its deep experience in index calculation and innovation, as well as its first-rate knowledge of the local industry, SIX is one of the largest and trusted index providers in the Nordic region.
Access to Index Data
Our Nordic indices are often used as underlyings for index-based products and as benchmarks in portfolio management. This requires a subscription, which depends on the index and the type of use. Subscriptions are distinguished as follows:

The issuance of passive products based on the Swiss Indices is covered by a product license. This license is typically associated with the following: ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds), Index Funds, Mandates, Passive Portfolios, Structured Products, Futures, Options, Swaps.

SIX60 Index (SIX60)
The SIX60 Index is constructed to reflect the market performance of the 60 most traded shares listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Stock Exchange. The weights for the shares included in the index are in relation to their market capitalization. Returns received by shareholders in the form of dividends are reinvested in SIX60.
SIX30 Return Index (SIX30RX)
The SIX30 Return Index is constructed to reflect the market performance of the 30 most traded shares listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Stock Exchange. The weights for the companies included in the index are in relation to their market capitalization. Returns received by shareholders in the form of dividends are reinvested in SIX30RX.
SIX Sweden SRI Index GI (SIXNCSRIGI)
The SIX Sweden SRI Index GI is constructed to reflect the market performance of all companies listed on the Nasdaq Copenhagen, Nasdaq Helsinki, Nasdaq Stockholm and Oslo Stock Exchanges that meet modern standards of social, environmental and ethical criteria in relation to sustainability and corporate responsibility. Returns received by shareholders in the form of dividends are reinvested in SIXNCSRIGI.
SIX Sweden ESG Selection Index GI (SIXSEESGSGI)
The SIX Sweden ESG Selection Index GI is constructed to reflect the market progress of 70 Nasdaq Stockholm Stock Exchange listed companies that withhold strong ESG practices. At least 50% of the index constituents must be considered leaders in sustainability and ESG practices. No index company may weigh over 20% of the total market cap of the index. Returns received by shareholders in the form of dividends are reinvested in SIXSEESGSGI.
SIX Portfolio Return Index (SIXPRX)
The SIX Portfolio Return Index has been constructed to reflect the market performance of companies listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Stock Exchange, subject to the restriction that no company may weigh over 10%. The weight restriction is imposed in accordance with the EU UCITS Directive, which concerns investment rules for securities funds’ holdings under the 5-10-40 rule. Returns received by shareholders in the form of dividends are reinvested in SIXPRX.
