Your Benefits on the Swiss Stock Exchange

New Horizons for Swiss Investors

The securities admitted for trading on the Swiss Stock Exchange are primary-listed on major international exchanges, but the trading currency for securities in the Sponsored Foreign Shares segment is always Swiss Franc. This means Swiss investors can avoid foreign exchange transaction costs. Some securities are also tradable in USD and EUR.

As a Swiss-based investor, you can trade your preferred foreign blue chips during the Swiss Stock Exchange’s trading hours – even if it’s outside the opening times of the respective home markets. The market makers – or Sponsors – in our segment make sure that liquidity does not dry up. They provide binding buy and sell prices continuously during trading hours, which enables you to react quickly to market developments.

Quick & Simple

Investing in shares from all around the world has never been easier for Swiss investors thanks to our Sponsored Foreign Shares trading segment.
