Companies listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange must report certain security-related and corporate events to the SIX Swiss Exchange. These official company reports are in turn announced by the SIX Swiss Exchange in the form of official notices. Official notices provide the following information:
Official notices are not to be confused with ad hoc publicity.
- in the case of equity securities: name change, dividend/ex-dividend trading, capital reduction
- In the case of bonds and conversion rights: general details about the issuer (name changes, change in the auditors, etc.), bond (amortisation, premature repayment, etc.) and conversion rights (capital events in the underlying etc.)
- In the case of derivatives: general details about the issuer, derivative (adjustment to the strike price or subscription ratio, attainment of threshold values which influence the price or valuation, etc.)
