Value to Society Video Series – Part 4: High-Impact Cybersecurity
The city of Graz in Austria, dominated by a fortress, is a fitting backdrop for a project that tackles a more modern concern – cybersecurity. In February 2019, in conjunction with the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz), SGS announced the development of the Cybersecurity Campus Graz.
The campus will be home to our Cyberlab Graz, which will focus on product and systems testing services as part of our larger portfolio of digital trust services. We will be particularly engaged in hardware security, specifically, microchip security testing.
2,500 new smart devices are being connected to the global network every second. Ten years ago, hacking felt remote – businesses and governments were hacked, not normal individuals. Today it is becoming an issue that is much more personal.
In this video case study, we interview Martin Schaffer, Global Head of Secure Products and Systems, Digital Trust Services, to find out more.
